The Abraham Joshua Heschel School receives the Bronze Award of Honor from the Society of Registered Architects New York Chapter

The Abraham Joshua Heschel School has been awarded the Bronze Award of Honor from the Society of American Architects New York Chapter (SARA NY). The award was given to IBI Group ▪ Gruzen Samton at the 2014 Annual SARA Awards banquet on Tuesday, June 24th. The event was held at Battery Gardens Restaurant in downtown Manhattan.

This project is a new nine story building, located on a tight urban site on Manhattan's West Side and has united the Heschel School's entire learning community on one campus for the first time. The new facility brings an Early Childhood Center, Lower School, and Middle School from disparate locations and integrates them with an existing High School.
