Our Project Selfhelp KVII was featured in the November / December 2013 issue of Senior Executive Magazine.
Selfhelp Community Services is a non-profit organization founded in 1936 to help victims of the Holocaust resettle in the NYC area. Selfhelp currently provides home health and social services to more than 20,000 seniors in their homes and serves 6,000 seniors at their local senior centers.
Our firm started work in 1967 with Selfhelp on the design of a 289-unit Martin Lande House. During 2009 and 2010 we completed renovations of public spaces of the building. Over the same period we renovated the 135 apartment bathrooms and public spaces
at the Helen Scheuer House, including building two private gardens and a sun filled extension to the lobby. The most recent project is Selfhelp KVII, a new 15-story, 92 unit senior living residence which opened in early 2013. For more information refer to the article above.
