Brooklyn College commissioned
IBI Group ▪ Gruzen Samton to undertake a master plan to radically transform its mature, densely developed, landlocked campus. Our team created new open spaces, provided suggestions for future site development and rethought the physical relationships of student-oriented services to the campus as a whole. The scope of work encompassed programming, site planning, campus-wide space reallocation, conceptual design of potential new projects and development of design guidelines.
This project received a 2005 SCUP/AIA Excellence in Planning and Architecture Merit Award in Campus Heritage and was completed in association with Kliment & Halsband.
