The Daniel Patrick Moynihan US Courthouse Entrance Pavilion, is an addition to the existing federal courthouse, which is located at 500 Pearl Street, New York. The GSA contracted IBI Group ▪ Gruzen Samton to complete the design and construction documentation of the New Pavilion. The design also includes five new vent stacks to be located in the adjacent lower plaza. The Pavilion, a one-story horizontal rectangular glass and steel addition, is aligned parallel to the existing courthouse. The Moynihan Pavilion mediates a shift in scales between the pedestrian area of the exterior public plaza and the existing courthouse.
