This five level, 175,000 sf, 175-unit community designed for Hassett-Belfer was envisioned as a campus of residential structures tailored for the elderly. The campus is composed of three structures situated around a common entry court.
Each of the three structures is designed as a component of the larger community, yet is specifically focused on providing the differing levels of care and services required by the residents; 100 units for assisted living; 25 for independent living and 25 for special needs. Each building component houses independent dining, activity and administration space. The buildings are designed to make maximum use of the steeply graded contours of the site and take advantage of breathtaking views across the Saw Mill River Valley.
