Ms. Wright is the managing principal of the New York City office of IBI Group - Gruzen Samton Architects. She is a registered architect who specializes in the management of urban multifamily projects including affordable and market rate housing, as well as facilities for seniors. In addition to firm-wide oversight, Ms. Wright oversees the Housing Studio and participates in IBI’s Mixed-Use High-rise Residential Global Practice. She has worked in the area of affordable and senior housing for over 25 years, committing volunteer and professional efforts to the preservation of affordable housing and the design of residential environments of all types. Ms. Wright currently serves on the Board of the New York City Chapter of Women in Housing and Finance and is a member of the AIA New York Chapter Design for Aging Committee.

Robert Lucas has been at IBI Group - Gruzen Samton for over 17 years and offers experience in design coordination, presentations, and construction documents. He possesses an extensive knowledge of computer aided drafting, building information modeling (BIM) and design. He has worked in all aspects of architectural practices including site survey, space planning, and research. His responsibilities have included areas of project coordination and preparation of construction documents for a range of mass transit and educational facilities including rehabilitation, renovation, additions, and new construction. Following the highly successful completion of The Heschel School since 2014, Mr. Lucas has acted as Senior Project Manager and Team Leader for the NYC School Construction Authority team handling all aspects from management to oversight of technical team.

Mar is the Senior Designer of the Housing Studio of IBI’s New York office. She is an architect with over 10 years of experience who holds licenses both in Europe and the United States. She has been working as an architect in New York City since 2003 after graduating with a Masters in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University. She has completed many successful projects in different parts of the world, from Spain, where she is originally from, to Milan, Hanoi, Istanbul & Singapore to name a few. Her extensive knowledge and expertise with design has granted her the opportunity to be a guest juror for multiple studies in schools such as Columbia University, Pratt Institute and the New Jersey Institute of Technology. She is a key member of IBI Group’s design initiatives.

With over 25 years of experience, Bryan McKeown’s background is with education facilities and high-rise residential buildings. He served as project architect on five major school projects with the NYC School Construction Authority: two new early childhood centers, an addition to an inter¬mediate school, and a new design-build primary school. Notably, Bryan recently oversaw the renovation and expansion of Columbia Grammar and Prep School. As project manager, Bryan leads a team to ensure prompt and successful completion of a building project. He is knowledgeable, conscientious, and capable of working with a diverse range of trades and specifications to complete a project successfully.

Jennifer has a depth of experience in project administration from pre-design analysis and programming through design development phases and both in-office and on-site aspects of contract administration. She is thoroughly familiar with building and development approvals processes and has an understanding of the complexities of the municipal project procurement environment. Jennifer has experience in a variety of capacities on a breadth of building types including residential, commercial, mixed-use, and institutional projects in both the public and the private sector. Her ability to communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors has made her a valuable key team member on projects situated within complex and challenging social and physical constraints.

Neil Myers is a Licensed Architect and native New Yorker practicing in the construction and design field since 2002. In 2017 Neil joined IBI Group - Gruzen Samton’s Leadership Team, and also acts as the Zoning and Building Code Specialist for the office. He has extensive experience navigating and ushering projects through the bureaucratic review and approval processes of local zoning resolutions, building departments, landmarks commissions, and variance requests. Neil has successfully designed and managed many complex projects such as: historic townhouse renovations, new apartment buildings, NYC restaurants, factory conversions, property subdivisions, high rise hotel renovations, rooftop bar spaces, office interiors, and zoning bulk and feasibility studies. During architecture school he was employed in custom product development for an architectural precast concrete facility in Long Island; this experience has fostered his respect fabrication processes, the limitation of materials and how we apply them in Architecture today.
