In association with Roman and Williams, Buildings and Interiors
Located on West 24th Street near the elevated Highline Park, The Fitzroy is an exclusive 14-unit residential project designed by Roman and Williams Buildings and Interiors as an architectural collaboration with IBI Group – Gruzen Samton. The ten-story building contains four floor-through units on the 2nd, 8th, 9th and 10th floors. A shared terrace is provided on the building roof and a street-level retail space has been designed for use as a gallery. The project is slated to be occupied in mid-2018. The building is clad in a green tera-cotta facade manufactured in Europe and features custom copper-clad over-sized oak wood casement double-paned windows. The ultra-luxury condominiums are open to north and south exposures and feature 11′ ceilings and 8′ solid oak doors. Each unit’s floors are adorned by a wooden chevron pattern and include hydronic radiant-heating installed throughout.
