EPA Headquarters

1.4 million

DC, Washington

2002

In association with Croxton Collaborative

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) National Headquarters Project encompassed the design of a 1.4 million sf complex in D.C.’s historic Federal Triangle District. Located on Pennsylvania Avenue midway between the White House and the United States Capitol, EPA’s National Headquarters was the nation’s first Federal office to apply sustainable design principals. The project began with 200,000 sf in the Ronald Reagan Building, completed in July 1997; continuing to interior spaces in the historic Ariel Rios, Interstate Commerce Commission, and United States Customs Services buildings, completed in 2002.
