Brooklyn, New York
333 Lenox Road is a 13-story, 56,090 sf, 58-unit residence for seniors. This $18 million building is the latest collaboration with IBI Group and Selfhelp Community Services. The property is located on a narrow lot in the Prospect-Lefferts Gardens neighborhood of Brooklyn. The firm had to work with a uniquely deep site of 200 feet. The design incorporates front and rear yard gardens, a green roof, a private roof deck that offers views of the Manhattan and Brooklyn skyline, a lobby-level social services office. On-site amenities include a laundry room, a resident gym, and a community room. Telehealth elements are provided throughout the building including brain fitness kiosks, blood pressure tracking in the lobby, a computer area with a Skype station inside the community room, building-wide WiFi, and pre-wired, cable-ready apartments.
